What To Eat When You Are Constantly On The Go

If you’re anything like me you know that you can’t function properly on an empty stomach. I hit the 3pm slump HARD every single day at work. It is the awkward time during the day when you had lunch maybe like 2 hours ago and then you’ll be eating dinner in 3 hours or so but you sit at your desk and your stomach is just growling. We’ve all been here. Whether or not you have a desk job like me, if you are on the go constantly and have no time to get a healthy snack the temptations can be real. Over the years of becoming more “wiser” in the kitchen, I like to compliment myself by saying that I have some great snack ideas up my sleeve. These healthy snacks keep my energy level in check and give me the extra protein I need to make it to dinner time. Trust me, I constantly think about the next meal that I’m going to eat (hope I’m not the only one!) because I am always hungry but these snacks help me keep on track.

GoMacro bars have been my go to for about a year now. They come in some incredible flavors and keep me full for hours. A couple of my favorites are Everlasting Joy, Protein Pleasure, and Protein Paradise. What’s great about these bars is that they have 10g+ of protein with healthy carbs and fats to keep you moving once you’ve hit that slump.

Happy March everyone! Woo we are one step closer to spring..can I get the hands up emoji?! Anyways, I am here today to not only wish you a Happy March but to share the 10 things that I do that help me stay sane or even distress. If you are Catholic like I am, today is the Ash Wednesday which is simply the first day of Lent. Lent is more about giving up bad things from your life but to focus more on the meaning of Easter. Instead of giving up junk food, I always like to focus on things that make me a better person or make me feel better about myself. It is a time to reflect and give thanks.  Continue reading “10 Ways To Become a Better You”

My Weekend Routine

Hope everyone had a great weekend or a potentially long weekend if y’all have today off like me! I’m finally feeling much better after having the flu last week and I am getting back into my normal routine since I have been gone for the Holidays. Personally nothing beats a good routine to stick to. I am such a creature of habit and find myself in the same exact routines for weeks and months! Monday – Friday is typically pretty boring for me since it involves going to work, working out, eating dinner, watching my guilty pleasure tv (I’m looking at you Bachelor and Vanderpump rules), and going to bed. But on the weekends I stay open to everything and try to get the most of my 2 days that I have free but at the same time find time to relax before the next busy 5 days. So I figured why not share with you all my ‘typical’ weekend routine.  Continue reading “My Weekend Routine”
