New Vineyard Vines Arrivals

Happy Monday everyone! Hope everyone had a great weekend! I can’t believe it is the last week of September … where did the month go? There are many exciting things that are coming up in the month of October. Have I mentioned October is my favorite month of the year? It is my birthday month! Fall is truly a wonderful season because of the leaves changing, everything pumpkin flavored, and it happens to be my favorite clothing season. However, this past weekend did not feel like fall at all. Here in Connecticut it was in the 80s all weekend. Even though I am so excited for fall, I was excited that the warm weather was staying with us for a little longer. When fall comes, that means winter, and I dread it especially because I am moving to Minneapolis (it gets freeeeeeezing there). Yesterday, I was able to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful weather and catch up on some reading. I received the Departures and Vineyard Vines catalog in the mail on Friday.

These are a just a couple of my favorite magazines that I receive every month. I was extremely excited to receive the Vineyard Vines catalog because I love their products and VV is a huge hit in our family household. This month, the catalog was shot in Fairfield County in Connecticut. Even though Vineyard Vines is already HQ in Fairfield County, it was very exciting because that is my home! Vineyard Vines does a great job in their catalog showing readers the beautiful clothing and Connecticut. There are a ton of new items that I love and plan to add to my closet very shortly.

(1): Jennings Shirt Dress: this dress is perfect for the office or can be dressed down to run errands in. It is the perfect dress for fall because of the longer sleeves and the neutral navy color. This dress is an absolute must in anyone’s closet!

(2): Button Neck Poncho Sweater: I saw this sweater in the catalog and fell in love. I am obsessed with the color and it looks oh so comfy. The length is something that I am not used to but I think it would be the perfect sweater to wear with jeans, leggings and boots, or cords.

(3): Fair Isle Sweater: this sweater is amazing. Who doesn’t love fair isle in the fall or winter? Nobody. I love the blue’s in this sweater and it looks great with basically anything. The cute pockets at the bottom add something unique and it is different than any other fair isle sweater I have seen before. Great job VV!

(4): Polka Dot Whale Ankle Cords: I love cords. I probably own fifty pairs of cords. I think they are perfect in the fall and winter. They keep your legs so warm and add so much to an outfit. I wear cords way more than I do jeans. So naturally I am obsessed with these Polka Dot cords. They are absolutely adorable and are a must have for fall.

(5): Polka Dot Stripe Skirt: This skirt is absolutely perfect. It can be warn at work, can be dressed up, or it could be dressed down (pair it with a long-sleeve t-shirt). I love the colors and the polka dots! I can see myself wear this skirt many times throughout the season.

(6): Fleece Shep Shirt Vest or Westerly VestMUST HAVE ALERT! I want/need these vests for fall/winter. I have a couple already so I must purchase a couple more. They are perfect on a slightly chilly day where you can pair it was a long-sleeved t-shirt or on a day where it is so cold and wear it underneath a heavy coat. I really really really recommend purchasing this vest.

(7): Starfish Weekender: I can’t stress enough the importance of a good weekender bag. I have a couple bags that I use for the weekend and I am absolutely in love with. This is a perfect weekend bag and I recommend anyone buying it if they are in need for a good weekend bag!
